Visitors to Lisbon are simply obliged to take a stroll through the “ baixa pombalina”,the downtown quarter that was completely rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake; The Augusta street arch, which has opened to the public and from where one has a breath-taking view over Lisbon and river Tagus; the Lisbon Story Centre, which recounts over twenty centuries of the history of this singular city, via sensorial, entertaining and fun experiences; Terreiro do Paço,a renewed location with café pátios that invite one to socialise; traditional shopping with a wide variety of traditional and alternative stores

About 20 Km from the capital, the Cascais Line is the Lisbon dwellers´resort, where the Tagus River meets the sea. It is here that the city´s residents escape the commotion of the capital to enjoy its wonders. Together with the magnificent beaches for sport and leisure, there is a wide offer of culture, nature and gastronomy all along the coast from Lisbon to Cascais, with a unique charm. In the delta of the Tagus Estuary we find the Bugio Fort, forever guarding the entrance of vessels into the harbour. Moving westwards, we get to Carcavelos and is extensive beaches, ideal for water sport lovers. Estoril has the best of both worlds: on the one hand the beach, and on the other the entertainment at the Casino. Cascais is the next town along the coast, resting besides the sea and extending to the Sintra- Cascais Natural Park which occupies 1/3 of its area. With a picturesque historial centre, its own marina and the riveting ocean, as can be seen with a visit to the Boca do Inferno (Hell´s Mouth) and Guincho Beach, Cascais is ideal for a stroll along the coast line. A meal of fresh fish at one of many restaurants with a magnificente view completes the experience.
